Smoking Lounge Area

The Venice Tessera airport named after Marco Polo was opened in 1960 with the aim of becoming a point of reference for passengers from the north-east. It rises in a particular area of the Venetian lagoon called “barena”, that is an area characterized by shallow waters where the water does not exceed 50 cm in height. In 2008 the lagoon airport was ranked third Italian airport in terms of number of passengers, rewarding the strategy of point-to-point flights that has always characterized this airport.
