The University of East Anglia was founded in 1960. Its head office is surrounded by greenery and was built having in mind an architecture promoting social exchanges between students. Key to the university’s growth was the art donation from Sir Robert and Lady Lisa Sainsbury that gave birth to the Sainsbury Centre, open to the public since 1978. In 2013, the University of East Anglia was considered as the best university in the UK in terms of students’ satisfaction. Located in the historic town of Norwich, the university offers social and cultural opportunities to over 15,000 students. A few relaxing areas have been furnished with Big Jim and some study areas have with Aire jr.
